Before the real fishing starts, there's the home pool. A few practice casts off the bow, leaders checked, knots retied and making sure everything dialed in before the boat ever leaves for the marsh. Small rituals, but at Pira Lodge, they matter.

In a landscape as vast as the Iberá, spotting the fish is half the challenge. From the platform, the guide reads every ripple and shadow moving through the marsh's channels and current seams, calling out shots before the angler ever sees it.
