Unser Hotel besteht aus 60 Zimmern im modern alpinen Stil. Zusätzlich zum Hotel verfügen wir über 16 Apartments, die sich im angrenzenden Gästehaus befinden. Beide Häuser sind mit direktem Zugang zum wunderschönen Garten und werden so miteinander verbunden. Im Hotelgebäude befindet sich unser Restaurant Luke’s Wohnzimmer, das sich durch seine raffinierte Kombination aus regionalen Schmankerln, kreativen Köstlichkeiten und coolen Drinks auszeichnet.

THE FOUNTAIN OF YOUTH ⛲️

Well, Gastein might just have its own version.

Hidden deep in the mountains of Gastein lies something pretty special: natural thermal water with a centuries-old healing tradition.

And at Sendlhofer’s, we're one of the few places still keeping that tradition alive.

Why? Because we're directly connected to Gastein's natural thermal springs.

Our "Jungbrunnenbad", also known as the Fountain of Youth Bath, uses naturally occurring radon found in Gastein's thermal water. In carefully controlled treatments, radon therapy is traditionally used to help relieve joint pain and inflammation.

And while the radon is removed from the thermal water in our regular pools, it plays a special role in the Jungbrunnenbad.

Especially when temperatures drop and your joints start feeling the cold, a little extra warmth and care might be just what you need.

An old Gastein tradition. A little time for yourself. And a very special kind of bath. 🫧

This weekend, our family headed up to Graukogel for a hike along the Zirbenweg. And autumn really showed off for us.

Golden light, bright reds and warm shades of orange everywhere you look. Indian Summer at its best. 🍂✨

There’s no need to rush up here. Breathe in that fresh mountain air, smell the Swiss stone pines, stop for the views and see what you can discover along the way. Exactly the kind of day we love spending together.

And then there’s Palfnersee. The perfect place to unpack a picnic, let some stones skip across the water, soak up the autumn sun and simply stay for a while.

For us, the Zirbenweg is easily one of the most beautiful hikes in Gastein at this time of year. The colours, the crisp mountain air, the quiet up here. Autumn in the mountains doesn’t get much better than this. 🤍

ONLY EVERY 4 YEARS IN BAD HOFGASTEIN 🌾

On September 27, 2026, one of Gastein’s most special traditions returns to Bad Hofgastein.

The big Harvest Festival takes place every two years in the Gastein Valley, alternating between Bad Gastein and Bad Hofgastein. So it’s only every four years that we get to celebrate it right here in Bad Hofgastein.

The day begins with a festive mass and the blessing of the harvest crown and local produce. And then, the whole town comes together.

Around 40 beautifully decorated floats make their way through Bad Hofgastein, each telling a different story of the traditional farming year. Sheep, cows and goats lead the way, followed by whip-crackers, local musicians, horse-drawn carriages, farmers in traditional dress, local associations and craftsmen bringing old traditions back to life.

And the best part for us? The parade passes right by Sendlhofer’s. 💚 So grab a good spot, watch the floats go by and experience this special Gastein tradition right on our doorstep.

There’s music, singing and laughter everywhere. A day to experience Gastein traditions at their best.
