Three days of mountain air, quiet mornings, shared tables, tangled yarn, new friendships, and projects growing stitch by stitch. The kind of weekend where time slows down and conversations flow.⁠

Together with Lisa and Linda from Knit Knit Berlin, guests spent their days knitting, exploring Bad Gastein, enjoying seasonal meals, settling into cosy movie nights, and finding inspiration in both the mountains and each other.⁠

Once a year, as the longest day of the year gives way to shorter ones, the mountains around Bad Gastein begin to glow.⁠

For centuries, locals have carried wood high into the mountains in preparation for the summer solstice. As dusk settles over the valley, fires are lit along ridgelines and peaks, creating a chain of flickering lights that stretches across the horizon.⁠

Part tradition, part celebration, part spectacle, the Sonnwendfeuer is one of the Gastein Valley’s most magical evenings.⁠

High above Bad Gastein, Stubnerkogel is one of those places that makes you stop for a moment and simply take it all in. Reach the summit by cable car and spend the day exploring panoramic hiking trails, mountain huts, scenic viewpoints and the famous 140-metre suspension bridge floating above the valley at 2,300 metres above sea level.⁠
