Soooo sooon! Winter is coming!
Haus Hirt winter season starts on December 5th, 2026

Like October clockwork, the first snow has arrived on our mountain tops and we’re getting SO excited for all the little big winter moments we’re going to share with you!

Save this for later! Here’s our little big Haus Hirt winter bucket list for Bad Gastein:

2. Skiing up high in beloved Sporti - on and off the slopes

A little more October magic from our mountains to yours!

Golden forests. Sun-warmed trails. Crisp morning air. And one beautiful hiking day after another.

Sooo sooon! Winter is coming to our magic mountains.

Snow-covered peaks. First tracks in fresh powder. Long winter walks. Rosy cheeks and Kaiserschmarrn. Snowflakes dancing outside our windows. Afternoon Melange, warm thermal waters and cosy evenings by the fire.

All this and many more little big things we love about winter in our fairytale snow bubble Bad Gastein.

For now, we’re soaking up our golden autumn days. But we can’t help getting a little excited for what’s to come.

The valley’s annual yoga festival is back for it’s autumn edition! From October 16–26, our magic mountains turn into one big yoga playground. From early morning flows to mindful moments in nature, inspiring teachers and beautiful encounters.

For curious beginners and seasoned yogis alike. No competition. No expectations. Just come as you are.

Big sunny mountain days! Little alpine spa rituals.

We’ve all been out and about, all over the mountains every day, soaking up every bit of golden autumn sunshine.

And then, back home. Into the cozy warmth of our Alpine Spa. A sauna session with mountain views. A relaxing massage. A soak in our hot springs thermal waters.

The beautiful balance of being out in the world and coming home to yourself, at yours truly.

1 more sleep until our fav hiking month in the mountains 🍂

October makes for our golden season at its very best: Sparkly sunny days, crisp mountain morning strolls along the promenades, forests turning all shades of gold and the most magical seas of clouds floating through the valley below.

Hike up high. Stop for Kaiserschmarrn.
Come home for thermal waters, something sweet and cozy evenings in.

And every now and then, a frosty morning or a dusting of white on the highest peaks gives us a tiny little preview of what’s coming next.

Our beloved golden season is arriving ~ with soft light, crisp mountain air and all day hikes through the changing landscape.

And afterwards, the little big rituals we love most. A relaxing massage, a soak in our thermal hot springs, or simply resting on the spa deck with the valley below.
