Dear Supporters,
We wanted to give you a quick update.
Project # 1, purchase of three Dell computers, was accomplished through Germany and delivered to the Polish-Ukrainian border by bus. Once transported across the border to nearby Lviv, our shipment began a perilous journey across the entirety of the country to Kharkiv in eastern Ukraine (a significant challenge)
By comparison, it used to take three days for such deliveries from Germany.
During this war time, it takes more than two weeks.
Next week, we will be able to share with you photos of the computers in hands of those who will be using them for the Greater Good. We'll post the photographs on our website once available.
Thanks to your generosity, we've managed to collect enough funds for Project #2 as well.
Initially, we were requesting those funds for purchase of the Fox Tech Baby Shark Drone
In the process of researching things, we learned of duplicity by the Chinese manufacturer. So, we decided to go in favor of the American drone AUTEL ROBOTICS EVO II DUAL RUGGED BUNDLE V2 (640T) 30HZ
We are currently looking for the best way to purchase and deliver this type drone, either from Germany or the U.S.
At the moment, there is a critical need for Kestrel 5700 weather meters with tripod and vane features.
This is our Project # 3. In the same way that the best marketing decisions are made based on interface with consumers on "Main Street", our purchasing decisions are influenced by what our boys on the front lines are telling us they need day-to-day.
We are updating our website now, and will post details about project # 3 within days.
We apologize for the delay re this particular update. Raising money is something Olya and I have never done before. We're learning as we go to overcome the challenges and are trying to be as efficient as possible.
God willing, we plan bi-weekly to post project updates on our website.
There are not enough words to express our gratitude for your support! Each donation gets Ukraine one step closer to its victory. Mind you, "victory" is defined in one of two ways: (1) turning back the Russian invasion completely; or (2) preventing Russia from achieving victory. In part, the latter has occurred insofar as Russian troops have given up on their #1 objective to take Kyiv.
