Pension Julia is situated in the picturesque Austrian village of Feld am See, Carinthia. The village is located by the Brennsee (also called Feldsee) between the Wöllaner Nock and Mirnock mountains. Occupying a slightly elevated position at the foot of the Mirnock, Pension Julia offers panoramic views across the valley from the front, with direct access to a path leading to the summit of the Mirno

ck from the rear garden. A short 5 minute walk will bring you to the shores of the Brennsee where guests can enjoy the facilities on offer, with many water sports in the summer and the possibility to ice skate or ski Nordic style when the lake freezes over in winter. We are situated close to the centre of Carinthia, making Pension Julia an ideal base for exploring the sites and attractions of the region all year round. Italy or Slovenia are also close by, approx. ¾ hour away by car, making a cross border excursion an attractive proposition. Pension Julia is a family run guesthouse operated by a British couple, Ryan and Alison, who moved here from Bedfordshire, England in 2015. We offer a warm welcome and homely service to all of our guests year-round in a relaxing and family friendly environment. Our aim is to provide comfortable accommodation to all of our guests ensuring great value for money during the time of your stay. All rooms have a neutral décor, with daily servicing and fresh towels. Guests can enjoy a full continental breakfast, served between 7.30 and 9.00, in our cosy breakfast room. Whether you want to relax, or fill your days with adventure and excitement, Feld am See can provide for your needs, for all ages and abilities, all year round. During the summer, you can relax by the shores of the Brennsee or take part in the wide variety of sports, swimming, hiking, golf, bike touring, tennis, windsurfing and many other activities, all within easy reach of Pension Julia. During the winter, snow sports are king, with several ski resorts close by. In addition there is the chance to skate on the frozen Brennsee, speed down the village toboggan runs and sleigh rides.

Das klingt nach einem richtig tollen Plan für das Wochenende! Die Feldpannalm in Feld am See ist wirklich ein schöner Ort, um die Natur zu genießen und gleichzeitig gut zu essen. Hast du schon mal die hofeigenen Köstlichkeiten der Familie Kohlweiß in der Rieserhütte probiert? Die Hütte hat jeden Samstag und Sonntag für euch geöffnet.
