A former imperial hunting lodge from the times of Emperor Franz-Josef and after a comprehensive but careful renovation, our Klaushofstube offers you mountain lodge feeling in magnificient, quiet forest settings, combined with up-to-date comforts.
- Cosy holiday apartment at the upper floor of the hunting lodge, approx. 60 m² with 2 bedrooms, traditional alpine open kitchen/diner with wood stov
e (but all modern amenities like dish washing machine, fridge/deep freezer, induction cooker, microwave, coffee machine, fondue oven etc.), large bathroom with shower and open daylight.
- Separate entry, storage room for luggage etc., ski room, private car parking
- In the ski region Dachstein-Gosau-Annaberg ("Dachstein-West"), Skischaukel with more than 140 kilometers of slopes. Skibus stop only 150 m of easy walking distance, driving distance to the Hornspitz lift station ca. 5 minutes by skibus or car.
- Directly at the sunny cross-country tracks of the Gosau valley (ca. 50 km of tracks, no track fees!)
- Snow-safe location until end of March / beginning of April

During summer, we have our fish pond next to the Klaushofstube, where you can fish for trouts, samlets and other fishes of Alpine freshwater (even as an absolute beginner; our fishery master Leopold will teach you, how to do ...). Or you can buy fishes for a bargain and then grill, cook, fry them yourself at the lodge.
