You can either take the Schmittenhöhebahn od the trassXpress gondola to the top and explore the area around the Schmittenhöhe. This place is always worth a visit - no matter the weather!

The backyard views in Kaprun hit a bit differently 🌼

At the high mountain reservoirs in Kaprun, 4 via ferratas are waiting for you!

Mooser-Mandl, Drossen-Hex, and Limberg-Zwerg – three via ferratas in varying levels of difficulty were drilled into the rock of the historic Höhenburg. All three climbs end at the top of the Höhenburg lookout point, which is located between the Drossen dam and the Mooser dam.

MOBO 107 is the world’s highest via ferrata on a dam wall. A small flying fox leads to the start of the dam via ferrata. The via ferrata on the dam wall is in A-B level of difficulty and makes it the perfect adventure for beginners and pros.

Fun fact: The MOBO 107 owes its name to the Mooserboden and the dam with the same name, which is 107 m high and almost 500 m long.
You can hire via ferrata set at the info point near the Mooserboden kiosk.
