Glittering lakes, snow-white glaciers, and deep green mountain meadows: On holiday in Zell am See - Kaprun you will experience Austrian nature from the best side. The picturesque Schmittenhöhe plateau, the romantic promenade along the shores of Lake Zeller See, and the only glacier in Salzburg - Kitzsteinhorn Gletscher: The diversity of nature in Zell am See - Kaprun is the perfect backdrop for an unforgettable holiday. You will reliably find snow on the Kitzsteinhorn Gletscher from autumn to summer! You can recharge your batteries in one of the many wellness temples, such as Kaprun's "Tauern Spa". The town of Zell am See offers an almost metropolitan atmosphere and a rich evening program. Enjoy typical Austrian hospitality in the form of a rich spectrum of delightful experiences, which has a long tradition. After the glacier cable car on the northern slopes of the Kitzsteinhorn was opened in 1965, Kaprun became Austria's first glacier ski resort. We want to share with you how you can enjoy this amazing place.

💙 Especially beginners and novices will be delighted by the castle cross-country ski track in Kaprun. Very flat and with just a few altitude metres, the track leads past Kaprun Castle - hence the name of the track. 💙 A great view to the Kitzsteinhorn Glacier ski resort and the Hohe Tauern National Park is guaranteed on the Brunnwies cross-country ski track or the golf course cross-country ski track in Zell am See.
💙 Tracks are still in good condition!
💙 You can rent the XC skis at Sport Bründl, where is the Kaprun centre, valley station Maiskogelbahn.
