This is where the magic happens.

Where we come together around one long table. To eat, drink, talk, discuss, share stories and discover something new.

It’s where we welcome guest chefs for our pop-up dinners, w**emakers for our W**e & Dine evenings, and friends from near and far.

A place for good food, great people, new ideas and unexpected encounters.

INTO THE WILD 🌲🍂🦌

One last festival weekend before we close the summer season.

From October 2–5, we’re heading Into the Wild. Bringing together chefs from around the world, all with their own way of looking at nature, ingredients and the landscapes around them.

Four days of cooking, gathering, sharing, fire and good conversations here in Zug.

With James Lowe, Edoardo Tilli , Elena Reygadas, Alvaro Clavijo , Prin Polsuk , POLENTINA , Pasha Demin & Fabio Delledonne .

A little love letter to Vorarlberg. ❤️‍🔥

For this year’s Koschina & Friends, we brought together some of the people shaping the culinary scene of our region. From L**h to the Bregenzerwald, from Hittisau to Satteins and Braz.

Cooking side by side, sharing ideas, stories, w**e and a very good time.

Three artists, three different perspectives, one shared curiosity for the landscape around us.

During their time at Rote Wand, they explored the local flora and fauna through art, design, technology and sound. Looking closely, listening carefully and collecting what they found along the way.

1 MICHELIN KEY 2026 ♥️

For the third year in a row, we’ve been awarded One MICHELIN Key by MICHELIN Guide (official).

An award that makes us incredibly proud and encourages us to keep doing things our way.

For us, hospitality has always been about more than a beautiful place to stay. It’s about the people, the small details, good food, genuine encounters and making everyone who walks through our doors feel at home.

A huge thank you to our wonderful team and to all our guests who are part of the Rote Wand.

AUTUMN LUNCH MENU 🍃🍂

Buttermilchschmarren for lunch? Always a good idea.

Starting tomorrow, we’re serving a small autumn lunch menu with some of our Rote Wand favourites: Pâté en Croûte, Schnitzel, Tafelspitz, Gnocchi, Tomatoes with Zuger Frischkäse and, of course, our famous Buttermilchschmarren.

For everyone who feels like stopping by for lunch.
