Hotel Staffler Hotel Staffler, the Multi-Award winning family run Hotel offering distinctive Staffler hospitality

Located in the Wildschonau, the Hotel Staffler is surrounded by the Austrian Alps. It offers traditionally furnished rooms with private bathrooms and free parking on site. Guest can use the cable car which is less than 200 meters away and ski or walk right back to the hotel. A free ski bus is available to take guests to other ski areas in the resort. The Staffler has a bar and restaurant and breakfast and three course evening meals are included in the price.

The Staffler – always bringing folk together!

Single traveller, family or group, large or small. A home from home, many returning year after year, with some trusting us for more than four decades!

Family & kids, friendly dining with children’s menus, family rooms, free stays for kiddiewinks under 6 and the same rate for kids all season long – no price hikes for peak dates! Niederau is consistently ranked as a top resort for beginners with excellent ski schools and nursery slopes close to the Hotel.

Groups benefit from bespoke, tailor-made programs, exclusive bookings for key weeks and our unique ski guiding service. We handle everything, from customised menus to seamless logistics, so you can focus on making the most of your time on the mountain and our great playground of fabulous skiing, right here on our doorstep!

Great deals for some pre-Xmas dates; Xmas is a magical week and at normal season rates (avoid shopping Armageddon and come play on the mountains). Early January deal with some single rooms without supplements and the same for all of March! Don’t forget our Big Ski at the end of March too – lots book in just for these amazing guided days out!

Some limited space for Xmas and Half Term (secret stash!) and some great party nights lined up for this coming winter season, including a homage to the late great Dolly Parton – as always, rather special on and off the slopes!

What’s this Christmas malarkey at the Staffler?

It’s classic Santa Claus - not just a few Xmas trees but millions of the little blighters - we’re surrounded by them on snow-clad mountains and touching distance from the hotel.

We’re absolutely White Christmas - Bing Crosby and Danny Kay. Christmas Jumpers from Lidl and Primark acrylic to Liberty cashmere. It’s a ‘Sound of Music’ themed day.

We’ve got skiing nirvana every day while the masses at home endure retail Armageddon. We’re having wonderful festive nights, with Christmas Eve reserved for our dress-up party night. We’re all bells and whistles on Christmas Day - a lingering festive breakfast, a sleigh ride around the village, Mr Claus himself and even a little Elf. And of course our classic multi course Xmas Gala Dinner!

Christmas is always busy and we have a little limited space this year - just a few beds; now’s your chance!
