How is this already our 6th year in the lodge?

We recently came across these photos from 2019, when Mountain See Lodge was still mostly lines on paper.
Back then, we spent hours looking at these drawings. Thinking about the materials, the rooms, the little details… trying to imagine what it would all feel like once it was actually there.

And now, six years later, those drawings have become a place filled with life.

Guests arriving from all over the world. Breakfasts together. Ski boots by the locker room. Summer evenings outside. Conversations, celebrations, familiar faces returning year after year… and so many memories we could never have drawn on paper.

It’s quite special to look back on 🤍

New season. And we wanted to make our breakfast just a bit more inviting.

This time, we refreshed our tea & nuts corner with labels, wooden details and a warmer presentation.

We believe hospitality isn’t only about serving breakfast but also the space you create and little touches that make breakfast feel more special.

We hope you’ll notice them too this season 🌞

Why people sleep so well here..

Maybe it’s the silence.

No traffic, no city lights shining through the curtains. Just mountain air and sounds of nature outside.

Or maybe it’s our comfortable beds (we’re lucky to hear so many kind compliments about them 🥰)

The warm wooden interiors helps too, creating a cosy atmosphere that makes you feel at home.

Whatever the reason.. we love hearing our guests say “I haven’t slept this well in a long time”.

Sometimes the best luxury isn’t something you can see, it’s waking up after a really good night’s sleep.

This balcony has become one of our favourite summer spots 🌞

We love seeing guests here after breakfast with a second cup of coffee, reading a book, chatting together or simply taking in the mountain views.

And after a full day of hiking through the Alps, there’s something magical about returning here. Tired legs, a glass of wine in hand, the sound of cowbells drifting through the valley and the cool mountain air as the sun slowly disappears behind the peaks🌿

These are the quiet moments that stay with you long after your holiday ends.

We’ve already been open for three weeks this summer, and it’s been so lovely welcoming everyone back 🥰

A little transformation at the lodge!

One thing we love is that the lodge is always evolving! Every season we look around with fresh eyes and ask ourselves; how can we make our guests’ experience even better?

Sometimes it’s something small, sometimes it’s a bigger project.

This time, Max felt it was time for a new reception desk. A design that feels more open, creates more space and an even warmer welcome the moment you walk in.

It’s these little projects behind the scenes that we genuinely enjoy. Step by step, season after season we always try to make Mountain See Lodge just a little bit better 🤍

We can’t wait for our guests to see it in person ✨
