These superb apartments are well appointed and furnished to a very high standard throughout with underfloor heating. There are a number of apartments which sleep either 8, 6 or 4 people. The 8 person apartment comprises three bedrooms plus further mezzanine bedroom (accessed by ladder), fully tiled bathroom with corner bath, separate shower, bidet and double basin unit. There is a also another sho
wer room with toilet and basin unit. The kitchen is well equipped, there is a large open plan dining area and lounge with wood burning fire, cable TV (Austrian/German/CNN channels) DVD and CD player. In addition the apartment has three balconies (one with large sun canopy) with stunning mountain views, outdoor furniture and a ski and boot storage area. The 4 person apartment has 2 double bedrooms and the 6 person apartment has 3 double bedrooms (1 with sink unit). Each apartment has a fully equipped kitchen, fully tiled shower room with corner shower, toilet and sink unit with cupboards and dining area for up to 6 people and comfortable seating for 6 people. There is a TV with satellite TV (german/austrian/CNN channels) and DVD player. To the front of the apartments there is a terrace with outdoor furniture, overlooking the pool and garden area. Parking is provided together with a ski and boot storage room. In the garden there is a shared heated pool, Kneipp pool and grassed area with sun loungers. The apartments are ideally located 5 minutes by ski bus from the main gondola station which provide access to great skiing and is well placed for restaurants, bars and a wealth of activities for all ages in both winter and summer. SKIING: Scheffau lies at the hear of the 'SkiWelt Wilder Kaiser Brixenthal', Austria's largest interconnected ski area allowing easy access to the nearby resorts of Ellmau, Going, Soll and Westendorf. The main gondola station is situated approximately 5 minutes away. Ski and boot hire is available at the base of the gondola station and equipment can also be left there overnight. There is however a ski and boot room provided next to the apartments where equipment can be dried and stored. GOLF: The golf courses in Austria are open from late April through to November. They are relatively flat compared to their mountainous surroundings and a couple of days strolling the fairways breathing in the alpine air will leave you feeling revitalised, refreshed and healthy. Locally there is the 9-hole Golfplatz 'Kaisergolf' and the 27-hole Golfplatz 'Wilder Kaiser' (5906 metres, Par 71).
