With splendid south-facing mountain views, Haus Rauscher in Tauplitz features a garden with terrace, barbecue facilities and table tennis. Situated on 3 floors, the chalet comprises a kitchen and a kitchenette, 2 living rooms, a fireplace, and a balcony. Fitted with wooden furnishings, the chalet also has ski storage and 3 bathrooms with shower, as well as separate toilets. The nearest restaurant

can be reached in a 2-minute walk, while a supermarket is 10 minutes away. The chairlift to the Tauplitzalm Ski Area is a 5-minute drive away, and the ski bus stops 100 metres from the Rauscher Haus. Grimmingtherme thermal bath can be reached in a 10-minute drive. An outdoor pool is 7 minutes’ drive away and the Ödensee, a swimming lake, is 15 minutes’ drive from Haus Rauscher.

ANNOUNCEMENT: Haus Rauscher has now been sold!

We had an amazing finale family ski holiday over Easter - the company and weather could not have been better as a final farewell.

This years Eurovision (Finals in May 2015) is being hosted in Vienna, after Conchita Wurst won for Austria last year (GO CONCHITA!!! Woo Hoo!!) - who, incidently is from our small neighbouring village of Bad Mitterndorf! It's so close you can ski there from our house!

So if you're thinking of theming your holiday this year, why not go Eurovision and go to Haus Rauscher in Tauplitz :-)
