for this year VIENNA DESIGN WEEK and FUTURE FOOD CULTURE we presented “Living Symbiosis”, a speculative exhibition that attempts to answer the questions: what will be the future of design? and food?

in collaboration with The Social Hub Vienna, we partnered with CHIMAERE to develop a bio-material based structure that holds, grabs, supports a fully white foodscape, evoking how the collateral effects of climate change could (and would) affect what we eat and how we perceive it

MÉMOIRE EN FIL — an immersive textile installation by Tatiana Bifouri exploring memory, identity and Luxembourg’s cultural diversity through participatory art.

With WELLNESS, Bureau Fomo creates a sensory experience that inspires people to develop a new approach to their own well-being.

A multi-course culinary performance inspired by Hundertwasser, bringing together food, design, sustainability and organic forms in a sensory experience by Berlin-based RAT Supper Club.

Interdisciplinary art duo EJTECH opens the new PILWAX Art Space with an experimental installation exploring the connection between technology, the human body, sound, light and space.

A mobile, multisensory club exploring accessibility, inclusion and the future of club culture. Combining a sound system with artist Michaela Rotsch’s walk-in glass passageway, the project creates a space where deaf and electronic music communities can connect through music, workshops, film and experimentation.

BITTERBAR at Margaretenplatz is the official festival bar of VIENNA DESIGN WEEK, bringing together local design and Viennese aperitif culture.

The bar collaborates with Austrian designers and regional producers, with a drinks menu centred around Viennese vermouth and local products rather than mainstream beverage brands.

A large-scale installation exploring what happens when design embraces change, decay and biodegradation.
Made from bio-based materials including wool, gelatin and bone glue, CHIMAERE brings flexi studio’s material research to life.

An experimental dinner by RAT supper club

On 2 October, Berlin-based food studio RAT | design studio | berlin joins The Social Hub Vienna for a special dinner during Vienna Design Week and Vienna Future Food Week.
Inspired by Hundertwasser’s Mould Manifesto, the experience brings together food, architecture and biomaterials — replacing the traditional dining table with an unexpected edible landscape.

Four graduates of TSH Talent Foundation are turning passion into impact, from filmmaking and sustainable design to culture and research. With the support of education, mentoring, and career development, they’re shaping a more inclusive future.

Mfon Abasi Inyang who grew up surrounded by a cultural belief that “anything that comes in twos” is a bad omen. Today, he’s a filmmaker with a 32M+ viewed YouTube film and is developing a new script inspired by his own life.

Luiza is using textile innovation to connect culture, craftsmanship, and conscious design.

Juan Pablo is combining culture and AI to help creative communities access new opportunities.

Sila is telling human stories through film while building creative communities and pursuing a PhD in visual anthropology.
