Did you know that technically sits between 2 climate zones? It is located right between the moderate Central European transitional climate and the dryer Pannonian climate. There is a huge area of woodlands in and around Vienna that you can explore. In 2005, the Vienna Woods were also designated a Biosphere Reserve by UNESCO – a designation for areas with a special cultural and natural landscape.

Wussten Sie, dass Wien genau zwischen 2 Klimazonen liegt? Nämlich gemäßigten mitteleuropäischen Übergangsklima und dem trockeneren pannonischen Klima. 2005 wurde der von der UNESCO außerdem zum Biosphärenpark ernannt - eine Auszeichnung für Gebiete mit einer besonderen Kultur- und Naturlandschaft.
