The CMAA Academy Of Country Music is presenting an Open Mic night!

Featuring the stars of tomorrow who have attended The Academy, but also open to other local performers who would like to perform on stage in a welcoming environment.

This will be the Academy's second open mic night at QIRKZ!

The Academy Director, Lyn Bowtell and General Manager, Roger Corbett (of The Bushwackers) will be on deck to MC the proceedings, and maybe even perform a cheeky song or two.

Free show, although it will feel like one you'd pay to see!

Delicious pizzas available!
Bar open from 6pm - music kicks off at 7pm

CALLING HUNTER VALLEY ALUMNI & PERFORMERS! 🎤

The Academy is presenting an Open Mic night on Thursday 21 May at Qirkz in the Hunter. Featuring the stars of tomorrow who have attended The Academy, but also open to other local performers who would like to perform on stage in a welcoming environment. This will be our second open mic night at Qirkz. Limited to 10 acts, there are still some spots available, so get in touch if you'd like to perform.

The Academy Director, Lyn Bowtell, and General Manager, Roger Corbett (of The Bushwackers, pictured with Lucy Beveridge) will be on deck to MC the proceedings, and maybe even perform a cheeky song or two.

Meals available, we'll be kicking off at 7:00pm. Free show, although it will feel like one you’d pay to see!
