🍻 A NEW CHAPTER FOR THE ABERMAIN HOTEL 🍻
After a lot of thought, plenty of conversations and more than a few ups and downs, we’ve made the decision to pass the reigns on to someone who can take this amazing little pub to the next level.
The hotel has always been a huge part of our lives. Our kids have been raised in this hotel. They will miss it. They actually haven’t known a life without ‘our pub’.
We’ve poured our hearts, our time, our energy and a whole lot of hard work into turning the hotel into something we are so proud of.
Over the 9 years, we have watched it change, grow and come alive again. We’ve celebrated countless birthdays, weddings, functions, family dinners, Friday afternoon b**rs and special occasions with our customers and friends.
We also survived COVID and lots of other very hard times. But I have loved it since day one.
We’ve met some incredible people along the way, made lifelong friendships and created memories that we’ll take with us forever.
And while it’s difficult to say goodbye, we also feel incredibly excited about what comes next.
We know the Hotel has so much more potential, it’s just needs so fresh hands with lots of energy.
For the right person, this is a fantastic opportunity to take an established, well-loved country hotel and make it their own.
There is still so much that could be done — growing the food and beverage trade, expanding the accommodation business, building on the functions and wedding business, and taking advantage of the incredible opportunity that comes with being located in the Hunter Valley.
