It has been an honour to support the Australian Combined Emergency Services (ACES) ACES FC — an incredible group of first responders who travel from across Australia to come together in Adelaide each year to take on the Australian Defence Force All Stars team at Adelaide Oval.
More than a game, this is about raising awareness for the mental health and wellbeing of those who serve — across fire, police, ambulance and correctional services.
Over the past week, we had the privilege of hosting players, umpires and managers, and spending time alongside an inspiring group of people, and the valued partners/sponsors including Clarke Energy - Australia and The Hospital Research Foundation Group – Military and Emergency Services Health Australia
From the Guernsey presentation night with Taylor (Tex) Walker, to a powerful mental health training session held in Toms Court Hotel’s brand-new meeting and event room, ‘King William Room’, through to a hard-fought ANZAC Day clash — decided by just 8 points — it was a week that showcased true mateship, resilience, and purpose.
A special thank you to Christopher Hughes and Jeff Wray for their support to help make the week memorable for ACES guests and the team at Toms Court Hotel.
We’re proud to stand alongside ACES — and even prouder to support those who give so much to our communities.
