Hosting at home sounds lovely until you remember the chairs, the dishes, the parking, the fridge that is way to small to fit all the food and drinks, not to mention that one person who always arrives too early.

Birthday, family lunches, christening, milestone drink, kids' parties, bring them to our place instead.

Had family visiting for Mother’s Day and already hearing “we should do this more often”?

For next time, our motel rooms are right here on Victoria Road, with the bistro, bar, bottle shop and courtyard all a very short wander away.

Handy for visiting family, work trips, weekend plans, or anyone who wants to stay close to the Port Adelaide side of town without making a whole production of it.

Last week, your schnitty night did a little extra good.

As part of this year’s $5 from every full-priced schnitzel sold last week was donated to the Sammy D Foundation, helping support their work to end youth violence in our communities.

Together, we sold 173 schnitzels and raised a total of $865!

A huge thank you to everyone who ordered one, brought the family in, rounded up a few mates, or just chose the schnitty because it sounded like a good idea at the time.

This was our second year taking part in Schnitty 4 Sam, and we’re proud to keep supporting a cause that means so much to our community.

Good feed. Good cause. Peninsula Proud.
