We’re thrilled to announce that The Chancellor on Currie has won the 2025 Australian Hotels Association - SA Branch Award for Excellence – Redeveloped Hotel (Accommodation Division)! 🎉
This refurbishment (July – December 2024) transformed our guest rooms and spaces with innovation, sustainability, and guest comfort at the heart of every decision. Highlights include:
✨ Thoughtful Design & Furnishings – modern, durable, and low-maintenance furniture and décor selections that tell a cohesive design story throughout the hotel. Updated desks, coffee tables, bedside cabinets, bedheads, and sofa chairs now feature our signature teal accent, paired with textured yellow and orange cushions, abstract artwork, and contemporary flooring — all adding warmth, style, and personality to each space.
✨ Executive Suites with Koala Stunner Queen Sofa Beds – crafted from FSC® timber, CertiPUR-US® certified foam, and recycled fabrics. Koala is B-Corp Certified and a member of 1% for the Planet.
✨ Vendella Dream Green Bedding – made from 11,474+ recycled plastic bottles, combining luxury comfort with environmental responsibility.
✨ Water Refill Stations – encouraging reusable bottles.
