Cactus Canyon is a hidden coastal gem near Sellicks Beach, about 50–60 minutes south of Adelaide. It’s known for its rugged cliffs, striking rock formations, and the many cacti that grow naturally along the cliff faces, giving the area its distinctive name.

Things to know
• The terrain is uneven, with steep sections and loose rocks, so sturdy footwear is recommended.
• There are no facilities at the canyon itself, so bring water.
• Stay well back from cliff edges, especially after rain or during strong winds.
• Help protect the area by leaving the cacti and other vegetation undisturbed.
