The Hygge Feeling
Hygge (pronounced "hoo-gah") is danish for acknowlediging a feeling or moment, whether alone or with friends, at home or out, ordinary or extraordinary as cosy, charming or special.
Thats how we got our name. Hygge is not something you do but more a feeling of relaxation and comfort that you feel. We are trying to create a comfortable space for you to visit where you can relax and explore the wonderful places this area has to offer. Whether you visit for a day to attend a winery, festival, event, wedding or family gathering or whether you stay longer to explore we provide the space to make you feel at home. Although we live on the premises you can have as much or as little interaction as you choose.
We believe comfort does not have to have the heavy price tag. We offer quality linen and towels and bathrobes in all our rooms. Self serve breakfast is included in the room price. And if you forget or loose the hair tie or bobby pin there is clean spare ones in the bathroom. Headache after the winery tour? The medicin cabinet has the extra Paracetomol on hand.
