Another group trip to Whitehaven Beach but this time on the Camira! Massive thankyou to for having us jump on board and supplying us with plenty of food through out the day, keeping us stocked up on booze as it’s an all you can drink tour! A massive thankyou to for letting our reception staff at Backpackers By The Bay have a famil visit to the stunning Whitsunday Islands! One of our staff members did the ‘Chill & Grill’ on Whitehaven Beach which supplied an endless amount of delicious food catered all day by their incredible staff! Starting with a sausage sizzle and then a full BBQ with plenty of variety including Veggie and Vegan options also! It’s that time of year again… The Great Barrier Reef Festival! 🎆 Some of our guests had a stroll down to the main strip of Airlie for stunning views of the fireworks at Airlie Beach to kickstart the great weekend! Lots of vintage ( and newer ) cars flooded the streets of Airlie & a parade that came straight through!
