A man has died after a crash in Jingalup overnight.

WA Police say at about 12.30am this morning a Toyota HiLux was travelling on Samson Road when the driver lost control, leading to the vehicle rolling.

A 30-year-old man, who was a passenger, sustained critical injuries and died at the scene.

The male driver, two other men and a woman were taken to Kojonup Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Police say anyone who witnessed the crash or with dash cam footage should contact Crime Stoppers.

ATCO's 8,000 Albany customers have been handed a temporary reprieve...

The state government has announced it has struck a deal with the gas provider to delay the decommissioning of the city's gas distribution network by several months.

The Canadian company's Australian arm had planned to begin decommissioning its ageing network later this year after it was deemed too costly to replace.

That time frame has now been moved to early 2027 after Energy Minister Amber-Jade Sanderson wrote to ATCO asking for it to delay the process.

Ms Sanderson says the extension will give affected customers more time to navigate the transition away from gas to alternative energy sources.
