Camp Quaranup is looking for a Chef or experienced Cook to lead the kitchen at its coastal camp on Albany’s Vancouver Peninsula.

You’ll prepare high-quality catering services for a range of groups including school camps, conferences, professional development days, weddings and workshops, while overseeing the daily operations of the commercial kitchen and supporting a dedicated team.

Surrounded by bushland, beaches and panoramic views across King George Sound, this role offers the chance to work in a truly special location.

🌱 What happens when you take 80 university students out of the classroom and into the wild?

Murdoch University students hiked, fished and collected data in rain or shine at Camp Quaranup, learning how to care for our ecosystems through hands-on experience.

It was a great example of how heritage sites can support education, environmental stewardship and community connection.

Today we commemorate Anzac Day.

This significant date is a time to honour the courage and sacrifices of Australia’s servicemen and women and pay tribute to those who laid down their lives in service to our country.

In 2025, we reflect on 110 years since the Gallipoli Campaign where Australian and New Zealand soldiers formed part of the allied expedition that set out to capture the Gallipoli peninsula.

We express deep gratitude to all who have served or continue to serve in our defence forces and reserves.
