White Haven is THE group getaway that makes it out of the group chat.

A trip to the Willunga Farmers Market 🥕 is always on our list when staying in the region.

Start with a coffee, wander through the stalls, fill your bag with local produce, fresh bread, flowers and all the bits for an afternoon platter ✨

Then? Take your market haul back to your Sanbis stay, pour something local and settle in for a slow afternoon.

Winter on the Fleurieu is something else…

Everyone assumes it shuts down for three months. Meanwhile August is quietly one of the busiest months on the Fleurieu.

Fleurieu Food Festival runs the whole month. Long lunches, farm walks, cooking classes, paella on long tables in a ruin at Willunga. A few have already sold out, which should tell you something.

We went through the whole program and pulled the ten we’d genuinely move things around for. Dates and prices are all in the swipe, so save it for when you’re deciding.

Upstairs for the adults. Downstairs for the foosball table 🤌🏼

Upstairs is the retreat. Open plan kitchen, deck with sea views, coffee before anyone else is awake.
Downstairs is foosball, a Pac-Man machine and bean bags, which is where the kids disappear for three hours straight. Big kids included 👀

Six bedrooms between them, so perfect for big group stays.

New brunch spot on the Fleurieu 🍳👌🏼

Billie’s has recently opened in Aldinga and it’s already one to know. Good coffee, a proper brunch menu, and that easygoing coastal pace that makes a slow morning feel like the whole point.

Staying down this way? It’s an easy one to build a morning around. And if you’re around on a Friday or Saturday night, they do epic pizza too 🍕
