Equipment Spotlight: Towable Cherry Picker 👀⬆️

With the warmer weather settling in, outdoor jobs and spring cleaning are starting to make their way back onto the to-do list. ☀️🌿

Our towable cherry picker is a handy option for all sorts of work at height, including gutter cleaning, tree trimming, exterior maintenance, signage and general property upkeep.

Compact, easy to move and useful for jobs where you need a bit more reach without bringing in a larger machine. ⚙️

Got an outdoor job coming up? Give the CHE team a call on 9312 5444 and we can help work out what equipment suits the job. 📞

A little team-building, CHE style. 🔧👷‍♂️

With no prior experience assembling scaffold, we gave the team a challenge: work together and figure it out.

They completed the first build, then about a month later, they pulled it apart and took on the same challenge again. 👀

It was a chance to put what they learned the first time into practice, work through the process together and see what they remembered.

There was plenty of teamwork, problem solving and, of course, a well-earned celebration at the end. 😂🙌

Just another look at the people behind the hire.

Warmer weather means the weekend warriors are coming back out. ☀️🔨

Whether it’s fixing the fence, tidying up around the yard or finally getting around to those outdoor jobs that have been waiting all winter, the right gear can make a big difference.

Here, one of our nail guns is getting put to work on a few fence repairs. 👀

It’s not always the biggest gear that keeps a job moving. 👀🔧

Around the CHE yard there’s plenty of smaller equipment working its way through hires every day, from scaffold and material handling gear to floorcare, landscaping, site equipment and more.

They might not get quite as much attention as the big machines, but they’re an important part of what happens behind the hire. ⚙️💪

Sometimes it’s the little things that make the biggest difference.

A little look at the range behind the hire. 👀⬆️

From compact electric scissors to larger diesel and rough terrain units, our team works across a wide mix of machines every day.

And when someone needs a scissor lift, it usually starts with a few simple questions:

🏢 Are you working indoors or outdoors?
🛞 Are you on a concrete slab or uneven ground?
📏 How high do you need to reach?

Those details help us work out the type and size of machine that suits the job.

Different sizes, different setups, different applications. Just another part of what happens behind the hire at CHE. ⚙️

Do you get a kick out of tilting the tray, winching a machine on and having it chained down and road-ready in minutes? Can you tell when a load is sitting right before you've left the yard? Can you already see what we could be doing better? Then we want you in the driver's seat.

Drive a well-maintained tilt tray, work with a team that values safety and reliability, and be the driver customers ask for by name.

When you come back from hire looking like you’ve seen some things… 👀😂

Some hires come back looking a little more “well used” than others. A quick post-hire clean, a check-over, and it’s back to being ready for the next job. 💪

Just another glamorous day behind the hire.

👋 Meet Shane, one of the people helping keep CHE moving behind the scenes.

As one of our Service Techs, you’ll often find Shane in the workshop, around the yard or out on the road in the CHE service van. 🔧🚐

From servicing and repairs to troubleshooting and on-site support, Shane plays an important role in keeping our equipment operating reliably and our customers supported. ⚙️💪

Because the hire doesn’t stop when the equipment leaves our gate, and neither does the support.

Another face behind the hire. 👀
