Developer’s statement
Our intention is to create a project that preserves, enhances and features all of the natural aspects of the location emphasising the uniqueness of the land, sea and sky, by highlighting the visual features of the Otway Ranges, Bass Strait and our Southern Skies.
Facilities to view this unique topography will maximise the extensive views, create a world-class Star Observatory, local wildlife corridors, Australian Art presentation areas, Indigenous heritage features, and provide venues for the finest of local and regional cuisine.
We intend to provide training and employment for local staff for long-term careers within the complex, and have a mutually beneficial interface with local Apollo Bay and regional traders. The construction will feature not only local and regional contractors, but will feature the best of Australian building materials.
