Happy Birthday to us! 12 years ago the Ecolodge was opened with a dream, a whole lot of red dirt an not a guest on site. Today we have 12 years of stories to tell, and hundreds (thousands?) of people have stayed making lifetimes of memories and friendships.
We love hearing from past guests, where they have ended up, and of the way their Ecolodge experience has influenced their lives, and loves ❤️

Hostel dog Mango has an apprentice - meet Bobcat! He's a blue stumpy tail Australian Cattle Dog. He'll be learning how to greet people arriving, show them around and generally hang out.

Mango as a puppy had fun stealing everyone's shoes - that's not a lesson Bobcat needs to learn!!

Lychee season is here! We're looking for Lychee pickers immediately and mango pickers/packers after xmas/New Years with work running to late January - share the Ecolodge love - if you have friends looking for work get them to check out our website for information!

Happy Birthday to us!! 11 years ago Childers Ecolodge was officially opened! It is amazing to think of the hundreds (thousands??) Of people who have stayed and the lifetimes of friendships and memories made here!

Celebrating 10 Years of Childers Eco-lodge!! What a rollercoaster it has been with challenges and successes, life-changing experiences and friendships forged from across continents.

We couldn't have done it without the support from our farms who are great to work with, and our guests who continue to spread the Eco-lodge name.

We'll bring you some now and then photos over the next few weeks, and we'd love to hear what your best memories of the Eco-lodge are!
