Full Time Mechanic, Panel Be**er, Auto Electrical, Good All Rounder Old School required for a Car Hire Business on beautiful Magnetic Island off Townsville.

Wages paid weekly include Accommodation, electricity, internet. Must be a self starter, experienced and multi skilled.

We have a work shed and a hoist and lots of tools you will be working on Suzuki Siears,, Vitaras, Rav 4 Toyota , Nissan X Trail.

Good air con self contained furnished accommodation supplied free on site and work ute.

Start asap but give fair notice to current employer

We are on the beach and 5 minute walk to shops and a great pub come have a sea change meet lots of new people the island has everything from golf club, fishing to cane toad racing, snorkelling. Magnetic Island is a great community to live, work and play, no crime, no Red lights, no hassles. 20 minute ferry ride to Townsville. 20 services daily.

Looking for motor Mechanic good all rounder.
Car hire company on Magnetic Island is looking for someone Mechanically minded to be responsible for vehicle repairs, routine servicing, inspections and preventative maintenance of old school cars -suzuki sierra and vitara topless cars as well as toyota rav4.
If you are looking a sea change then this is for you.
Benefits: Full time, ongoing and secure employment. Accommodation provided on site, a car for you to use with fuel provided.
Must have a valid drivers licence with own tools would be good, vehicle maintenance/servicing experience preferred but must be mechanically minded with a can do attitude. Reliable and consistent with a good work ethic.

We have work for accommodation positions available at Arcadia Beach Guest House. You will be provided with great accommodation plus a buffet breakfast each morning of cereal, toast, fruit, tea and coffee, full use of all our amenities including snorkel gear and use of a car with fuel provided. All this for a few hours work a day with one day off a week to explore the Island or relax and have fun with new friends. The work is varied and can include cleaning, office work, picking up guests, laundry, etc. A manual driver's licence is an advantage.
Our helpers usually stay for a minimum of three weeks, but you are welcome to stay longer.

Balding Bay ✨

While the Forts walk is closed these tracks are seeing a lot more visitors and maybe it will be the start of a new island favourite.

From the eastern end of Horseshoe Bay beach, the track climbs through a steep gully of forest to a ridge with open eucalypt woodland. One branch of the track leads down to the secluded Balding Bay, and the other continues to Radical Bay. Both bays offer excellent swimming opportunities and are currently accessible by foot or sea.

Cruising Maggies coastline. Short but scenic routes lead you from one village to another alongside some of Maggies most stunning headlands and beautiful beaches. Be sure to pull over so you can really appreciate the view, each bay is so diverse and truly offers a different experience.
