We’re looking for friendly, reliable people with a positive attitude, an eye for detail, and an interest in looking after guests. Prior experience is welcome, but not essential, with training provided for the right people.

SUNDAY ROOTS & BLUES

Live at The Rising Sun this Sunday from 2–5pm, featuring Mick Kidd and David Blight.

On Father's Day, The Rising Sun looks forward to welcoming Mick Kidd and David Blight. They have been playing together since 2011, bringing guitar, harmonica and plenty of blues experience to the stage. The Adelaide duo have performed around Australia and in Memphis, with David also known for his long association with Cold Chisel. Together, they play a stripped-back mix of acoustic blues and original music.

Join us from 12noon for our Sunday Roast, featuring roast Wagyu beef. All dad's enjoying the roast will receive a schooner of tapa beer or a glass of house wine on us! Bookings recommended, but not essential. Until sold out.

There's still time to settle in for Father’s Day at The Rising Sun.

We’ll be serving roast Wagyu beef with horseradish cream and all the trimmings, made for a proper Sunday lunch at the pub.

Dads enjoying the roast will enjoy a schooner of tap beer or a glass of house red on us.

Mick Kidd & David Blight will be playing live from 1pm to 4pm in the Front Bar.

Keep it simple, good food, live music and an afternoon at the pub with Dad.

Today we’re serving roasted lamb leg from our friends at Wunderbar Lamb.

Available from 12pm until sold out.

Friday Happy Hour and meat tray raffle at The Rising Sun.

Every Friday, a local community group comes in during Happy Hour to run the raffle, with the meat tray prepared by Clare Valley Meats and all raffle proceeds going back to local causes.

We are currently welcoming the Clare Golf Club, so join us from 4pm to 6pm for Happy Hour, grab your meat tray tickets, and stick around for the draw at 6pm.

Adelaide Hills musician Arvi Peterson brings a relaxed blend of blues and ballads, performed on six-string guitar, slide guitar and harmonica. Influenced by the early blues greats, his laid-back style and understated musicianship make for an easy Sunday afternoon session in the front bar.

Tonight, we’re pouring the 2023 Heidi Schrock & Sohne 'Junge Löwen' Blaufrankish/St. Laurent from Austria.

This wine is a medium-bodied, vibrant Austrian red wine from Burgenland. Meaning "young lions," it is a sustainable, vegan-friendly field blend of 85% Blaufränkisch and 15% St. Laurent, offering notes of red cherry, raspberry, and black pepper with a schist-driven minerality.
