Our Story

River Gardens Axedale homestead, B&B and rose gardens site was carved from a hillside overlooking the Campaspe river in 2015. Finally a long held dream of living alongside the river had come to fruition. Designed and built to share the beauty of the river with visitors and guests, the B&B is open all year round and the gardens are open weekends from November to May, excluding February.

Guests can get away for a few days in the country at River Gardens Bed and Breakfast. Feed the chickens, collect the eggs, feed the goats, walk the property, interact with resident wildlife and fish the Campaspe river.
