KITCHEN HAND
Key requirements:
*Physically fit (the role involves occasional heavy lifting
*Ability to work both independently and within a team
*Strong attention to cleanliness, hygiene and detail
*Able to support chefs with basic food preparation
*Comfortable working in a fast paced kitchen environment
*MUST be available Wednesday-Saturday, primarily for evening shifts
*Minimum 15 hours per week, with flexibility to take on additional hours as required

PART TIME CHEF/COOK
The Royal Hotel seeks to appoint an engaging hospitality professional for a part-time enthusiastic chef/cook position at our busy family-owned hotel.
Our trading hours are 11.30 till late Mon-Sun with our peak periods being evenings and weekends.

What this role involves:
*Preparation and production of menu items according to standardized recipes
*Work within an established team to ensure that the reputation for exceptional quality is upheld in the community
*Assisting with stock deliveries and rotation
*Maintaining a clean working environment
*Adhere to food hygiene and safety practices
*Providing fast, effective service with a positive attitude
*Weekend availability required working on a rotating roster
ABOUT YOU:
*A demonstrated ability to work productively in a variety of environments including a la carte, set menu production and event catering
*Working knowledge and solid understanding of food handling, HACCP and OH&S principles
*An open and friendly manner, positive attitude and team spirit
*Minimum of Cert III in commercial cookery or equivalent industry experience in a cook role
*Dedication to food quality and presentation
*Well-developed time management skills with the ability to prioritise
