📢 COMMUNITY NOTICE: SEVEN Gravel Race – 15–16 May 2026

The Shire of Nannup wishes to update the community the following information about SEVEN Gravel Race as provided by the event organisers.

🚴 Event Overview
SEVEN Gravel Race is Australia’s premier gravel cycling event and an official qualifier for the UCI Gravel World Series, hosted in Nannup.
📅 Dates: Friday 15 – Saturday 16 May 2026
📍 Location: Nannup, Western Australia
🌿 Event Village: Village Green, Nannup
🏁 Main Race Day: Saturday 16 May 2026

👥 Attendance Expectations
• Friday 15 May (10am–6pm): Registration and shake-out ride (~2,000 people)
• Saturday 16 May (6am–6pm): Race day (up to 5,000 people expected)
• Approved camping within the Recreation Precinct and parts of the Golf Course and oval - Managed by Event Organisers.
• Public WiFi will be available at the event village to support high attendee numbers.

🚧 Traffic Management & Road Closures (Saturday 16 May)
To support the safe delivery of the event, the following closures will be in place:
• Grange Road (Forest Street to Brockman Highway): 6:00am – 6:00pm
• Forest Street (east): 6:00am – 6:00pm
• Balingup–Nannup Road (Grange Rd to Wrights Bridge): 6:45am – 3:00pm
• Brockman Highway (Dunnet Rd to Folly Formation): 8:30am – 5:00pm

Access to Moonlight Ridge will remain available under traffic control (single lane conditions). Traffic management measures will be in place by the event organisers. Residents are encouraged to plan ahead and allow extra travel time during peak periods.
