Lewana Cottages Historic short stay, self contained holiday cottage accommodation in a delightful setting, located in the Blackwood River Valley.

Lewana Cottages is approximately 2.5 to 3 hours drive from Perth and is located on the Balingup - Nannup Road, 14 kms from Balingup and 26 kms from Nannup. We have six self-contained cottages, five with two bedrooms and a sleepout. The sixth cottage has one bedroom and is pet friendly. Our cottages, which once housed forestry workers in the 1960's and 70's, are set on 100 acres in a unique parklan

d setting, surrounded by State Forest with 100's of trees (55 varieties). Natural bush setting, 3km from our nearest neighbour.

A last-minute cancellation means Cottage 5 is now available this weekend - just in time for the Balingup Medieval Carnivale! ⚔️👑

If you’ve been thinking about making a weekend of it, this is your chance to swap the drive home for a cosy cottage tucked away amongst the trees.

Spend the day soaking up all the medieval festivities, then retreat to the peace and quiet of Lewana for the evening.

One of the things we love most about Lewana is seeing people come together.

So we've created a new space for exactly that.

Our Self-Serve Camp Kitchen is now open for campers and wedding guests - a place to prepare a meal, share food, enjoy a morning coffee, and make the most of your time surrounded by nature.

Whether you're staying in a caravan, camping for the weekend, or joining us for a wedding celebration, we hope this little addition makes your stay feel even more like home.

Meet the newest (and loudest!) members of the Lewana family… Mario & Luigi! 🐐💚

These two little boys have settled in so beautifully over the last few days and have already become the best of friends with Fergus. 🐮

If you’re staying at Lewana, don’t be alarmed if you hear what sounds like babies crying across the property around breakfast, lunch and dinner… that’s just Mario and Luigi making sure everyone knows it’s feeding time! 😂

When they’re not demanding snacks, you’ll usually find them bouncing around their play equipment, practising their head-butting skills, or convincing Fergus that he’d really like to join their games too.

They’re full of personality, endlessly entertaining, and we can’t wait for our guests to meet them.

We have a very special introduction to make...

Everyone, meet Fergus – the newest (and fluffiest!) member of the Lewana family!

This gorgeous little Highland calf has already stolen our hearts with his big curious eyes, fuzzy coat and gentle nature.

One of the things guests love most about staying at Lewana is spending time with our friendly farm animals, and Fergus is quickly becoming a favourite.

So if you’ve been dreaming of a peaceful South West escape, now might be the perfect time to book a stay and meet our newest resident in person.

Warning: Side effects may include excessive photos and a sudden desire to own Highland cattle. 📸🤎
