The Watts family are proud and passionate park owners that have been in the Caravan Park industry for over 40 years. h this commitment to the industry, they have created an addictive atmosphere within their properties that cater exclusively to tourists and holiday makers. Melbourne BIG4 Holiday Park was purchased in May 1988 by the Watts family. It is set on 2.5 hectares and is only 9km to the city centre in Melbourne, the gateway to Victoria. With little infrastructure Melbourne BIG4 consisted of eleven brick units, one cabin and 12 caravans. The family vision involved the removal of on-site vans, cleaning, extensive renovation of the amenities and facilities, and major infrastructure development. A development program that still continues today in keeping with our values of quality, service, cleanliness and a complete tourism experience. The Watts Family have redeveloped a number of parks over the years and currently own and operate BIG4 Ballarat Goldfields Holiday Park and BIG4 Renmark Riverfront Holiday Park. With caravan parks and tourism deeply ingrained in the Watts family values, the family business is currently operated by the second generation of the Watts family with some of the third generation happy to help out during the holidays.
