Balmoral Queenslander is a beautiful home that offers quality accommodation in the the inner city suburb of Balmoral. Perfect for couples or family reunions, for small groups and for people arriving or departing via Airport or business professionals trying to escape the standard hotel scene. Balmoral Queenslander offers the choice of two large Queen double rooms, both have stunning private bathrooms, private outdoor seating on decks and patio.

Brian & Marie bought the house in 2009, raised and moved it 1.2 m and renovated in 2013 – 2014. Both are passionate gardeners and the large house has lush unique tropical gardens, creating the natural green and beautiful views from all rooms. Marie’s talent for decoration and style, combining the new with the character of the Queenslander beauty results in a stunning look. The house has been enlarged and tastefully restored over the last 3 years.

Located within the prestige suburb of Balmoral, between Hawthorne & Bulimba, the city limits to Brisbane is a mere 4 km, and is just 10 mins to the Airport. Balmoral Queenslander is a 7 min walk to famous vibrant, leafy urban village Oxford St Bulimba dining, shopping and Cinema precinct. 7 min in another direction you have Hawthorne Central precinct with Deluxe cinema, Turkish, Mexican, Italian, Thai and pizza restaurants & bars, all surrounding the wonderful Hawthorne Garage with gourmet grocery & deli. On the weekends its just one ferry stop from Apollo Rd to the fantastic colourful Eat Street food markets.

Guests have their own access, can come and go as they please, plenty of safe parking out the front. We live upstairs totally separate but can offer lots of local advice & assistance if required..

Balmoral Queenslander is very close to the CBD, the airport and the Gabba, For visitors to Brisbane the river cat trip into the city is a fantastic experience. The River circles around the three suburbs and we are equi-distant from 3 river cat ferry stops. If you prefer to go to lunch or dinner without getting in your car, you can walk to the local dining or the City Cat and hit Brisbane city's fine dining strip at Riverside.

Modern standards are included as well with each room containing WiFi, TV, DVD, bathrobes, hairdryers, and air conditioning. Between the two rooms is a kitchenette stocked full of snacks, and a fridge for guests use with Tea coffee machine, toaster and microwave.

If you desire scenic strolls, a romantic setting, fine dining in walking distance, shopping and specialised delis, endless coffee & choices for bars, a room in Balmoral Queenslander is where you will want to be. Lush tropical gardens in the heart of inner city Brisbane, with great rates for the best accommodation of this calibre. Its a great launching pad for overseas travel of airport flights or a great first night stop after a long flight.
