It’s time for us to say goodbye ❤️

We just wanted to say a huge thank you to the wonderful Barham and Koondrook community for making our time here so special.

We’ve absolutely loved our time in Barham and feel incredibly lucky to have been part of such a welcoming and supportive community. From our lovely guests to the locals who have supported us along the way - thank you. It has genuinely meant so much to us.

A very special thank you also has to go to our amazing staff. We honestly couldn’t have done it without you. Thank you for all of your hard work, your support, the laughs and for caring about the motel as much as we did. We’ve been incredibly lucky to have such a wonderful team behind us.

As we hand over Barham Bridge Motor Inn to its new owners, we hope you’ll give them the same warm welcome and support that you gave us when we arrived.

Thank you for the memories, the kindness, the laughs and for making Barham feel like home.

We’ll miss you all ❤️

Property update

We’ve received approval to add a third storey to the motel.

Construction will begin shortly, with new rooms offering even better views over the river.

We’ll share progress as it gets underway.

Join our fantastic team as a casual housekeeper!
We offer award wages, a supportive environment, and flexible morning shifts (min. 2 hrs, max. ~5 hrs).

Duties include:
🛏️ Making beds (triple sheeting)
🧹 Cleaning & servicing rooms
🌿 Maintaining common areas

Some weekends and school holidays are required.

Experience preferred but not essential - a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently are a must. You’ll need to be proactive, reliable, and able to work independently.

Big thanks to River Daze for another fantastic weekend on the Murray!

It was great to see so many visitors in town enjoying the music with the Rogue Traders, Bon Jovi Forever - The Australian Bon Jovi Show, Zkye and the GuyZ, Tusk- The Fleetwood Mac Tribute Show and Darcy Ramage Music.

We loved welcoming everyone to Barham and can’t wait to see it all happen again next year! 🎶🌿
