This will probably will be my last post. My husband and I are making a sea change. I have been at the shop for 7 years and loved every minute. I adore the ladies I work with and cherish all the friendships I have made. As some people know I have a chronic illness and I have appreciated the empathy and compassion when I’ve had absences. There has been great times & sad times. Fun, lots of laughter & some inappropriate giggles. I have been constantly amazed by the generosity of the community both with donations and purchases. Old friends and new make the day always I good one. I got to know what people like & sometimes save something for them. I have absolutely loved doing the windows, displays & dressing the girls. Thank you for all the lovely feedback. What I love most is we became a place for people to come and have a chat we always have time for a chat. It’s been a privilege to work at the shop and over the years it’s been fabulous to see what our profits have purchased for our Aged Care Facility in Barmera. I will be around for a little while yet and back in Barmera often to see family. There will be a new page so please follow. Thank you everyone from the bottom of my heart.

All of us at the shop and the Hospital Auxiliary are very saddened to learn of the passing of Joan Hoffman. She was a member for over 20 years holding position of Secretary for most of that time. She will be hard to replace. Joan was a beautiful lady always immaculately dressed. She was extremely smart and a wonderful wordsmith. Joan had a quick wit, was funny with a lovely smile and a twinkle in her eye. She will be terribly missed RIP 💜🙏

Wow so busy with donations thank you so much lovely people. Just a reminder we can’t take kids clothes toys etc simply because we don’t have room.
