Project: New Wall is officially underway!
Based on today's progress, we've estimated completion somewhere around the year 2111... give or take😅. Once it's ready, it'll become home to a brand-new mural, and we'd love to hear from artists who'd like to be part of the project.

✨ Exciting news for Sunrise Motel! ✨

We're incredibly grateful to Berrigan Shire Council for awarding us a Small Business Grant to help transform one of our very sad, very old, roadside walls into a mural celebrating local artists and our amazing community. The project was announced as part of Council's latest Small Business Grants program.

While we wait for Steve to find the secateurs we need help to brainstorm.

What we love so far about Sunrise Motel is what's right across the road from the Botanical Gardens which has quickly become a favourite spot for our family.
Be it a morning stroll, a chance for the kids to burn some energy, or simply somewhere peaceful to enjoy a coffee, we find ourselves wandering through regularly.

If you're staying with us, we'd highly recommend taking some time to explore the gardens.

We've been slowly making small improvements aimed at making your stay just that little bit easier and more comfortable.

A few of the changes so far:

✔️ Bedside lamps with USB charging (because nobody enjoys crawling behind furniture looking for a power point)
✔️ Softer fluffier towels, refreshed linen and upgraded biscuits
✔️ New cutlery, crockery and kitchen utensils in rooms
✔️ Updated TVs with simple instructions - answering all your Foxtel queries
✔️ A refreshed BBQ area with a TV, air fryer oven and extra cooking equipment to make group meal time more enjoyable.

Behind the scenes, we've also been working on things you hopefully won't notice - better hot water, pool upgrades and improved energy efficiency.

We're not trying to reinvent Sunrise Motel.
We're simply making the kind of improvements we'd appreciate ourselves when travelling.

Next on our to-do list? The toiletries and bathroom.
