This week we retired our old caravan on site 28 to the back fence and replaced it with a very tidy Golden Eagle Eureka that we found on marketplace. This didn’t come without its challenges. The backyard that it was sitting in had a very narrow driveway and was sitting offset to the driveway, it was tucked over a metre from lining up with the driveway. We had to winch the front of the van across, off my tow bar so when I hooked it up and pulled it out, it would clear the house. I had to let the tires down completely so it didn’t hit on the eaves, and we had to remove the downpipes to get underneath the gutters. With only millimetres to spare, she came out in one piece and now sits proudly on site 28! Oh and for sh*ts and giggles, the toilet cassette was completely full and blocked with face wipes with no chemicals used. That wasn’t fun. 👃

Somehow I managed to get all this done, in around, over-seeing 3 brand new houses being delivered for our lifestyle village next door and also being fully booked for Australia Day weekend! It was a full on week but it’s nice to take a breath this morning. Happy Australia Day weekend everyone ✌🏼 🇦🇺
