Original 1960s Barwon Heads beach shack, stylishly renovated, situated in a quiet location, comfortably accommodates 5 people. Property includes two generous sized light filled bedrooms, two bathrooms, fully equipped European kitchen and laundry. The backyard accommodates a small bungalow complete with bunk beds, suitable for an extra two children, (sleeping a total of 7) separate bathroom plus ou

tdoor shower (with hot water) perfect for rinsing off after a trip to the beach. The property faces north, allowing you to take full advantage of the living and dining space with bi fold windows that open onto a large deck and outdoor entertainment space complete with undercover BBQ area and kitchen servery window. Double glazed windows, wood fire and gas heating (main bedroom) provides warmth for the cooler months while overhead fans in both bedrooms and fresh evening breezes provide absolute comfort for the warmer summer months. Relax, sleep or read a good book from the library while lying in the hammock under the shade of the trees. The kids can play in the yard or the conveniently located playground, Skate Park and nature reserve at the end of the street. Enjoy a short stroll to the Barwon River and beaches, golf course, boutique shopping, cafes and restaurants or instead take the complimentary bikes for a ride.

It’s autumn at Cottesloe Beach Shack and we’ve closed to bookings for a few months while we undertake some renovations. Watch this space as the new bathroom/laundry takes shape and the old bungalow is replaced with an outdoor living / dining pavilion. Don’t worry - we’ll be open again well in time for your summer family getaway ☀️⛱️
