To the Hairy-nosed, Bare-nosed, Northern and Southern today we celebrate these marvelous marsupials and the amazing work they do for our environment! 🌱

Wombats are incredible eco-system engineers, their digging and burrowing assists in aerating soil, improving water filtration and increases nutrient cycling - all helping to create a vibrant and flourishing ecosystem that other plants and animals can enjoy! 🌻🦘🪱🐦‍⬛

In other news, i's great to see that Transport Victoria put in a pedestrian crossing over the highway last year so people can get safely across to the food at the turn-around point of this very popular walk!
