h. Located just one hour north of Sydney, Shelly Beach is a mecca for surfers, beach lovers and holiday makers alike. Shelly Beach Holiday Park offers holiday rental accommodation as well as permanent caravan sites. With a range of different holiday cabins and well-positioned caravan and tent sites to choose from, we have a type of accommodation to suit everyone. The fully self-contained cabins have magnificent ocean views are nestled along pathways of tropical palms and flowering natives. Guests can enjoy a leisurely stroll to the beach, a 5 minute walk to the adjoining golf course, or visit any of the local clubs, restaurants, shopping centres and local tourist attractions. Shelly Beach is clean and calm, and is fully patrolled from October to April each year. The quiet location of the park makes it a safe place for kids to play and families to reconnect with each other. Set away from busy roads and fully enclosed with fencing, it’s a secure place for kids to play with friends and have some fun!

When you’re heading down the freeway and you spot Ploddy, you know you’ve arrived on the Central Coast! 🦖💙

Today, Ness and I were so excited to be invited along to celebrate 30 years of Ploddy overlooking Somersby. Part of the Australian Reptile Park , this local legend has been around for 50 years, stands an impressive 26 metres long and weighs more than 100 tonnes! 🦖

He’s certainly a pretty iconic part of the Central Coast and it was a privilege to celebrate this milestone with her!🎉
