WF Waters Lodge

The W.F Waters Lodge is owned and operated by the Rover Scout section of Scouts Victoria. It is avail It is one of the largest modern chalets on the mountain.

The W.F Waters Lodge is located at the Mt Baw Baw Village and is adjacent to the top car park for easy access. The upstairs bedrooms are able to sleep up to 40 people in bunk and double beds while the lower level features a full commercial kitchen, dining and lounge area with couches, bean bags, pool table and a wood burning coonara. Within a few hundred metres you have access to all that Mt Baw Baw has to offer......

Join the Alpine Team for an epic weekend of skiing, snowboarding, and progression on the mountain! 🏂⛷️

VenturerSki is designed to help Venturers work towards OAS Stage 5 with support available across both skiing and boarding streams. We’ll be staying at the WF Water’s and Scout Alpine Activity Centre Lodges right on the mountain.

Costs:
$450 + equipment hire & lessons
Ski Hire: $42
Board Hire: $69
Lessons: $120

👉 We recommend skis if its your first time

💳 $250 deposit required on booking
📆 Remaining balance due 28th June 2026

🚌 Coach transport included from Moe Railway Station
⏰ Meet 7:45pm Friday | Return by 5pm Sunday

There are also limited Rover and Leader positions available to support the activity and work towards higher OAS progressions!

A massive thank you to everyone who has attended our previous working bees, we have been able to achieve so much with your help!

Unfortunately, we will no longer be running our April Working bee which was scheduled for 24-26.

As we would like to encourage Rovers to attend and participate in Anzac Day Services 💙

Our last working bee at WF Waters Lodge was a lot of fun! Rovers got stuck into a kitchen clean, building repairs, green waste removal and even helped out with painting at SAAC.

In between the work, there was also some ultimate frisbee on the mountain. 🥏
