What a Father’s Day. 🍻

A huge thank you to every Dad, family and friend who spent part of their day with us today. It was an absolute pleasure having a full house and looking after you all.

And congratulations to 𝗧𝗥𝗘𝗩 𝗛𝗔𝗡𝗗𝗦 — the lucky winner of our Father’s Day slab! 🍺👏
Couldn’t have gone to a better bloke.

Now the last meals are done, the doors are closing a little earlier… and we reckon Andy has earned the right to put his feet up too. 😂🍻

Happy Father’s Day to all the Dads, Grandads, father figures and the good blokes who simply show up. ❤️

𝟏𝟖 𝐘𝐄𝐀𝐑𝐒 𝐀𝐆𝐎 𝐓𝐎𝐃𝐀𝐘… 🔑❤️

Deb & Andy were handed the keys to The Beaufort Hotel and began a journey neither of them could have known would still be going strong 18 years later.

Eighteen years of meals from Deb’s kitchen, b**rs poured by Andy, long days, late nights, celebrations, challenges, familiar faces and countless memories made within these old walls. 🍻

Jack & Margaret may have kept the fires burning once upon a time…

but for the past 18 years, that job has belonged to Deb & Andy. ❤️

And they’re still here.

Still opening the doors.
Still feeding people.
Still pouring the b**rs.
Still lighting the fire.
Still welcoming you in.

Because a country pub isn’t really about the building.

It’s about the people who keep turning the key. 🔑

So, as a little surprise for two people who would never make a fuss about themselves…

𝗧𝗛𝗜𝗦 𝗙𝗔𝗧𝗛𝗘𝗥’𝗦 𝗗𝗔𝗬, 𝗪𝗘’𝗥𝗘 𝗠𝗔𝗞𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗧𝗜𝗠𝗘 𝗙𝗢𝗥 𝗢𝗨𝗥 𝗢𝗪𝗡. ❤️

We’ll spend Sunday lunch looking after all the wonderful dads and families joining us at the pub… and then at 4pm, we’re calling it a day. 🍻

It means Andy gets to finally put his feet up 😉 and, more importantly, our crew gets the evening to spend with their dads, partners and families too.

Because some things are more important than keeping the doors open for a few extra hours. ❤️

We’ll be closing at 4pm this Father’s Day, with no dinner service.

Thank you for understanding and for letting our little pub family have some family time of their own.

Tuesday’s back, which means it’s time for one of our favourite nights of the week.

𝗖𝗢𝗠𝗠𝗨𝗡𝗜𝗧𝗬 𝗗𝗜𝗡𝗡𝗘𝗥 • $𝟮𝟬

Good country pub food, a warm fire, a cold drink and a night off from cooking. That sounds like a pretty good Tuesday to us. 😉

Bring the family, bring a mate, or just bring yourself. There’s always a seat at the local.

Why?

Because after looking after everyone else’s dads at lunchtime, we reckon Andy deserves to put his feet up too. 🍻

And just as importantly, it means our wonderful crew can finish up early and spend Sunday evening with their own dads, partners and families. ❤️

𝗧𝗛𝗔𝗧’𝗦 𝗔𝗟𝗟 𝗙𝗢𝗟𝗞𝗦! 🍻

Well… that escalated quickly. 😂

The Beaufort Hotel Mixed Grill hit the tables Friday and you lot absolutely went for it.

So much so that Deb sold out Friday… and had to head out Saturday morning to restock so we could do it all over again. 🥩🍳🍟

The pies certainly didn’t get left behind either, and plenty of Lemon Meringue Pie disappeared along the way. Safe to say, the weekend specials kept the kitchen VERY busy.

Thank you to everyone who came through the doors, pulled up a chair, ordered a meal, had a cold one and spent part of your weekend with us. ❤️

And now Andy has left you with his contribution for the week…

Which seems rather appropriate because this time next Sunday, it’ll be Father’s Day. 👀
