TRAFFIC ALERT - WOLLONGONG

The 2025 World Triathlon Championship Finals will take place over four days, from this Thursday to Sunday.

Affected Roads: Campbell St, Wilson St, Smith St, Hector St, Georges Pl, Harbour St, Crown St, Burelli St, Marine Dr, Endeavour Dr, Cliff Rd, Bourke St, Corrimal St, Kembla St, George Hanley Dr, Squires Way, Carters Ln, Elliotts Rd and Pioneer Rd. There will also be a number of side streets closed with local access only.

Thursday 16 October: Road closures (5:15am to 7:30pm), Special Event Clearways (1am to 8pm)
Friday 17 October: Road closures (5:15am to 6:30pm), Special Event Clearways (1am to 7pm)
Saturday 18 October: Road closures (5am to 9pm), Special Event Clearways (1am to 8pm)
Sunday 19 October: Road closures (5:30am to 8pm), Special Event Clearways (1am to 8pm)

Allow extra travel time if driving in Wollongong as traffic may be heavier than usual around the area.

Public Transport 👇

A free event shuttle will run between Wollongong Station and WIN Entertainment Centre to transport participants and spectators to the event area. It will run via Burelli Street, Corrimal Street, Crown Street and Harbour Street.
