It is with much regret that we have to announce that our up coming speed dating event this Tuesday at the Star Hotel, Macksville, has had to be cancelled. Full refunds have been issued to all those who purchased tickets.

Sadly, we just didn’t sell enough tickets to run the event & we have a 72hr cancellation with the venue otherwise we are liable for the costs for the venue. It is with this in mind that we sadly took the decision to cancel this event.

We’d love to hear from you why the lack of ticket sales, given that so many of you we’re emailing us saying you were coming. It is only by actual sales of tickets that we can put on events so please, we’d love some feedback so we can better plan another event. Was it the venue or perhaps the day? Help us with your feedback so we can strive to accomodate a better event.

C’mon you lovely single people, we’re less than a week away from our first speed dating event & we need to see more ticket sales!

So, if you haven’t purchased your ticket yet, head to our website, www.coastalcupid.com click on the REGISTER button, fill in your details, then click on the red heart for the event & follow the purchase you ticket instructions, it’s really quick & easy.

Tickets are $30 each & that includes a free drink, glass of wine, beer or non alcoholic beverage plus hot finger food.

We’ve worked hard to get our first event organised but it wont happen if we don’t get your support. So come on everyone, buy your ticket ASAP & come & join us for a fun evening & meet local single people!

Also, The Star Hotel is a great venue with a great atmosphere, delicious food & family friendly. It’s our first event, so please show your support for Coastal Cupid, buy your tickets & come join us for what we hope will be a great, fun evening.

Can I get some feedback please on the website, good & bad.
Also, please make sure you buy your tickets for our first event, we need to know how many people are coming well in advance, if we don’t get enough people, we’d have to cancel & that would be a shame.
We can only be as good as the interest we get from everyone, so come on, get buying!

Hi everyone & Happy Easter to you all.

We are very pleased to announce that the Coastal Cupid website is now LIVE!! I know, it’s taken a while & I apologise but websites & me don’t understand each other too well, but with the help of GoDaddy I think I’ve managed to get something that doesn’t look too bad, please let me know your thoughts, please be kind!!

So, that brings me to the best bit, you can now register for events & yes, you can buy your tickets to our first event on April 10th at the Star Hotel in Macksville. Please make sure that you read our Terms & Conditions & that you register using the Register button BEFORE you buy your ticket as that will allow us to keep track of who’s coming. We will then email you your ticket(s) in the coming days.

We’re so excited and a little nervous, but looking forward to Meeting everyone on the 10th.

At last, we have finally secured a venue for our first event, we're so excited & couldn't wait to share it with all of you.

It will be a Speed Dating event and it will take place on Tuesday 10th April at the Star Hotel, River Street, Macksville.
If you wish to attend this event please email us, if you haven't already at [email protected] and we will email you a registration form, which we have almost completed and are ready to send.

We have also been very busy on creating our website, which I have struggled with seeing as I am not a web designer! However, I think I may have cracked it so hopefully it'll be up & running very soon. Once we have the website up, all event registrations will be via the website, making it simple, quick & easy.

Thanks to all the new followers of Coastal Cupid, please continue to tell all your single friends & get them to like/follow our page too. Also, a big thanks to everyone for being patient as we start our new venture, we can't wait for our first event & to meet all you lovely single people!
