Great News

Our bagatelle table is back!

Our table has been lovingly restored by Pegasus Billiards in Melbourne. She is now back in pride of place in the bagatelle room. We are grateful to the donors who assisted with funding the project with funds being matched by the hotel.

Bagatelle was a parlour game made famous by a party at the Chateau de Bagatelle for King Louis XVI of France. We believe the table arrived here at the Royal Victoria Hotel in 1883 from London. It is one of very few produced with brass cups.

Please share this exciting news and visit us to see and play this wonderful heritage game in our heritage hotel.

Well the creeks are down and the road is passable with care

The local Warrioota Creek is running slowly with beautiful clear mountain water.

People who were stuck have been able to leave and we await new group of travellers.

The pub is open 10 to 6 and the campground has space for you.

Remember we have a bitumen road all the way in !
